SAVE THE GIRL CHILD AND CAMPAIGN AGAINST FEMALE FOETICIDE
HIGHLIGHTS
- Creating awareness on the issues relating to the Female Foeticide and encouraging the Civil Society Members to participate to eradicate the problem.
- Addressing issues of Female Feticide and protecting mothers who are under pressure to abort female foetus.
- Sensitizing the community on the enforcement of Prenatal Diagnostic Technique Act 1994 (Regulation and Prevention of Misuse) and attempting to change behavior of the local community towards the girl child.
- Generating awareness to change attitude towards female in the society and attempting to build community mindsets to ensure that communities and families welcome and celebrate daughters.
- Promoting the ambitious scheme of the Government i.e. ‘Educate the Girl Child, Savethe Girl Child, the beti bachao, beti padhao and to generate massive awareness for the welfare of Girl Child.
