To work towards a disaster proof society through implementation of disaster risk management programmes, to prepare the community to face various types of disasters like flood, cyclone, earthquake and others and to undertake relief measures during natural calamities and to implement all such re-habilitation activities and programmes for the natural calamities affected area and people.
