To implement labour welfare programmes, safety, healthy, social security of labour, policy relating to special target groups such as women, child labourer and employment services and vocational services etc. and to undertake action oriented research and study on the subject of child labour and preventive measures to discourage further accretion of children in to employment and to take up welfare projects for working children and others.
